Terrorism; it’s all in how you present it.
I pointed out some of these things when the Aurora shootings happened.
I’d also like to note that the shooting of a theater was on every channel for a week plus, SOLID, while everyone was trying to figure out “what went wrong with him.”, going so far as to have its own little title cards and computer graphics; ‘The Colorado Theater Massacre’…like a movie.
A Sikh temple was shot up on Sunday. That story is not on the front page of any media outlets today; in fact, you would have to SEARCH for any reference to it from a major media outlet…and we KNOW what was wrong with the shooter in that case.
It’s all about the presentation. That’s two terroristic attacks on Amercian soil, committed by white Americans, in two weeks. You’ll never hear that from the media though because the media and controlling agents have to keep instilling the fear of all things ethnic under the guise of reporting on ‘terrorism’. They may wanna start focusing some ‘War On Terror’ efforts here at home.

I set some shit off on my Facebook page today. I will expand on it here because I stand by everything I say and I have no fear. When you have fear, the terrorists win. I’m raising points about the mass-media, the perceptional differences when applied to ‘one of our own’, and the words used.
See this fucking asshole here? This is James Holmes, the man who threw tear gas into a packed theatre where folks had gathered to see the biggest movie of the summer and started shooting everyone inside.
Fuck this guy. He is a terrorist. I will explain why now…
Call it what it is. If he was a shade or two darker, that’s all you’d be hearing about…and now, YOUR ass is nervous about going to do something you were likely planning to do. Plain and simple, terrorism.

2. the act of terrorizing
3. the state of being terrorized
Seeing as how I have no idea as to what this man’s goals were, I can’t speak on that, but I’m pretty certain some intimidation and violence were involved. As for the second and third definitions, how those don’t fit this situation is beyond me…
Again, my point is that the word ‘Terrorist’ has been assigned to a certain set of people with a so-called certain set of goals…
Well, I, for one, don’t see how this incident doesn’t have everyone terrorized…and it was based around something that all of us woulda been talking about today, but we’re not. So, instead of talking about the new trailers and how flipping awesome the new ‘Batman’ movie is, we’re talking about our personal safety and trying to define ‘terrorism’. All we are talking about is this ‘one lone nut’…it’s always ‘one lone nut’ when “he was just a nice boy”.
If this happened at a screening for a flick like ‘Boyz N Da Hood’, I’d bet dollars to donuts, we’d be discussing ‘gang violence’ and the ‘problems’ in the ‘urban’ commuinty, then the outcry to ban movies like that would start.
They’re all terrorists. They’re all mentally ill.
Now, let’s see all of them called out as such.
Your entire perception of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, the cinema, and your safety has been changed by fear. Say it hasn’t and you’re a liar.
This dude made a a point to connect himself permanently to what looked to be the biggest opening weekend of all-time. This dude booby trapped his house. This dude stockpiled weapons for a while to do this. This dude surrendered without any drama after he killed 12 people and wounded 58 others, at the last count I saw…
This dude committed an act of terrorism, but it won’t be called that because the mass-media where we live has to connect that word to a different set of people so you know how to identify them on sight…
The real terrorists are the ones you never see coming that change everything through an act of violence, sticking the populace with a fear they never had before…

A dude shoots up a theater, showing the blockbuster movie of the summer, at the premiere, killing people who simply wanna see a movie and live….
Now, tell me your ideas about doing something damn near everyone in America is talking about tonight haven’t changed a bit in light of this…just like you weren’t in a rush to hop on an airplane on September 12, 2001.
Call the shit what it is…apply the terms to the situations to everyone who commits them…
They’ll come up with every reason to tell you this dude “seemed like such a nice boy”, he was enrolled in med school, they’re trotting out his high-school graduation pictures…
When’s the last time you saw a person of color’s graduation pictures when they pull some shit like this? They had pictures of the Virginia Tech shooter, an Asian, holding hammers and grimacing and had his ‘manifesto’ on the air within hours.
I’m waiting to see what was on the shooter’s mind and what his motivation was, but there’s no explaining this shit…
It’s just a matter of how they try to.

That’s strange, cuz when the cops sent everybody into the streets with no plan to control the castaways from the Yo Gotti concert that was to take place at Cloud 9…they suuuuuure made sure we knew what was going on inside the club…and suuuuuuuure took lots of pictures of the (Black) kids outside to let you know who was in there.
You see it as well as I do and if you don’t wanna acknowledge the way things are portrayed in the media, you’re naive because you wanna be or are part of the problem.
