The mixing of the gospel and the secular worlds has long been a thing that a lotta great singers that came from the church struggled with during their lives. Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye…all seemingly tortured souls in some way, but they always kept the God in their music.
They knew where they came from…despite their flaws, they never lost sight of where they came from and what made them. they continued to sing gospel songs, even while enjoying major success. Actually, all three of these artists expressly mention God, even during secular songs…and sexual songs.
Sex is not a bad thing to sing about; it’s a major part of a loving relationship. It is a connection between two people who should have a close bond with each other besides that sexual one. It’s a major component in life, man. It’s the start of what will be ‘life’ for everything that breathes on this planet. Wow, baby. Wow.

The sexual energy of everything in this human life cannot be denied. It is what attracts people to their mate in the first place. Slim gon keep it real; you gotta ‘type’…and when you see that ‘type’, you take notice…even when you got somebody. It’s a natural thing for your eyes to be attracted to your ‘type’…what is unnatural is to pretend like you’re not.

Lemme say this; People are gonna be entertained by sex and violence and that’s that, but some kids are so desensitized to violence that they don’t even think it’s real until they maim or kill someone. 9 year-olds are looking at things on the internet that weren’t even in my imagination at that age.
They have FOOTAGE of it, man. Lord.
Also, mental health issues are obviously going unchecked in this case. Kids don’t just stab people unless they’ve BEEN having REAL issues. You gotta talk to em, man. You gotta KNOW what they’re up to, how they’re feeling, what motivates and hurts them. This kid needed help before this, no one can tell me different…and now, one kid’s life is ended way too early and another’s is ruined and scarred forever.
Talk to your children. Make sure you know the difference between ‘teen-ager crazy’ and ‘having issues with mental health’. There’s a big difference and it could mean life or death.
