When I didn’t have anyone to produce tracks, make beats, whatever you wanna call it…I would often make them myself. I’ve never had a real ‘production’ set-up; I could never really afford one when I was starting to rap and the reality is, I have a hard enough time keeping up with my DJ gear.

One way I ‘produce’ beats is by blending and playing loops live on my turntables. I made a grip of them for talkbeds on ‘The Rock Block’, which I still use to this day. I’ve actually recorded a song or two over tracks that I have ‘produced’ this way…
